Our vineyards are located in Australia's golden growing belt, three of which are located in the world famous Barossa Valley, blessed with natural conditions producing top quality wine grapes.
BAROSSA VALLEY
SOPHIE VINEYARD
Comprising of 70-year-old Shiraz vines (Survivor Vines) and 35-year-old Cabernet vines (Old Vines). The vineyard is located on Samuel Road between Nuriootpa & Marananga and split by the flowing Para River.
Winemaker Bill dedicates many hours in the vineyard ensuring the ancient vines are nurtured and since the purchase, Bill has planted a selection of alternative varieties at the Sophie Estate, to include; Nero d’Avola, Montepulciano and Durif.
WILLIAM VINEYARD
The vineyard comprises of nine rows of 100 year old Shiraz vines (Centenarian Vines) originally planted in 1914 by the Hahn family.
• The vineyard sits on the famous ‘Golden Mile’ stretch of the Barossa Valley floor.
• Planted with Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan & Malbec.
• Soil comprises of sandy loam over red clay and limestone.
• Total vineyard size: 14.37Ha
• Barossa Classification: Centenarian Vines 100 years old & Survivor Vines 70 years old.
ELISABETH VINEYARD
You can enjoy the views of the Elisabeth Vineyard from our Barossa Valley Tasting Room.
Situated at the top of Barossa's; Vine Vale and the foothills of Mt McKenzie, this vineyard comprises of Old Vines (35+ Years) of Shiraz and Cabernet.
Enjoy the sweeping vineyard views when you dine at the on-site restaurant, Harvest Kitchen. Sit on the deck and take in one of the best outlooks in the Barossa Valley, where you can witness some amazing sunsets.
